If you’re tracking macros you need to be weighing your food with a food scale.

But how do you do that when your meal has 8 ingredients?

Here’s how to weigh your meal as you make your plate

Here’s a video of Jonathan making his dinner while weighing each item on the plate as he goes. You can use this same technique even if your meal is a steak, a potato, and some beans.

Even if your meal is fajitas with a tortilla, chicken, veggies, and sour cream on top. Even if your meal is a bun, a burger, lettuce, tomato, mayo, ketchup, and pickles. Even if your meal is a chipotle-style burrito bowl… you get the point.

We encourage people to eat as many whole foods as possible and it certainly makes weighing your food easier.
