PROGRESSION

Every week when we send out the workouts to online coaching members there are exercises that some of the members need to scale down to their abilities.

For example, if there are strict pull ups programmed, we will have some members do ring rows as a part of a progression to build strength in the muscles that will lead to the ability to do strict pull ups.

Once ring rows become easy, we will move on to doing pull-ups with a band that allows them to get several pull-ups in a row with assistance.

Once that becomes easier, we reduce the thickness of the band until ultimately they can do them unassisted.  

Progressions like this are beautiful and essential to making progress.  It’s a great feeling to see your hard work and consistency pay off.
