BODY VS WEIGHT 

Bodyweight workouts: 

Advantages: No equipment needed, you can do a lot of reps, great for increasing heart rate, easier to do longer “cardio” workouts, great when traveling, burns calories. 

Disadvantages: Little strength gains, limited exercise selection, limited muscle gain 

Weight Training workouts:

Advantages: Much greater strength gains, greater muscle gains, more exercise selection, burns more calories 

Disadvantages: Requires coaching for some lifts, potential injury increased with increased loads, requires a gym or equipment purchase
