MEAL PREP

No matter what your goals are, you're much more likely to succeed if you're prepared.  

Make food prepping a priority.  Think ahead as to what meals and snacks you want for the week (or at least the first few days of the week) and make them in bulk.  

Here are our favorite things to meal prep:

1. Chicken Breasts  - We cook about 5 lbs of chicken each weekend for lunches.

2. Sauce - Diced tomatoes, and seasoning make a great topping for the chicken breasts for lunch.  I make 2 cans of fire roasted chopped tomatoes each week.

3. Rice - 2 cups of rice will last us all week.

4. Sweet Potatoes - Way tastier than white potatoes!  You've already got the oven on!

5. Ground Turkey - We cook it 2 lbs at a time (1lb 99% lean, 1 lb 94 % lean mixed together).  This usually lasts us 2-3 dinners.

6. Chopped veggies - Chop up some bell peppers, carrots, cucumber or whatever else you like for snacks and dinners. 

It's going to take some practice, but it's worth it.  Almost everyone who is successful, has a plan and sticks to it so they don't get stuck with only bad options.
