ARNOLD PRESSES

We regularly program shoulder presses for overall upper body strength.  Another overhead  lift we love is the dumbbell press patented by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Start with the dumbbells in front of you with your palms faced toward you. As you press the weights overhead, rotate the dumbbells 180 degrees, ending with your palms faced forward.

The Arnold press is great for overall shoulder strength and size as it hits all 3 parts of the deltoids, along with the smaller rotator cuff muscles.

Try adding them in every week or two and see what you think.
