Scaling the Pistol
NOTE: Only perform pistols if you have a well established squat and lunge
Begin with One Legged Box Step Ups focusing on driving yourself off the ground with the foot on the box (avoid jumping off with the grounded foot)
π Attach a band high and grab it with the opposite side you will squat with
π Shoulders forward
π Heel planted
π Drive out of the squat by pushing through grounded foot
WATCH OUT FOR
π Heel coming off the ground
π Knee caving in
π Twisting the body
PERFORMANCE NOTES;
πShoulders should be forward not straight up and down
π Band for assistance should be behind you (to the side) not in front of you pulling you up from the front
π Heel stays down (did I say that already π)
