What To Eat When You Get Hungry At Night

My Post (17).jpg

For some of us it’s pretty easy to have a solid day of nutrition… until the old late night cravings kick in.

Maybe for you it’s dark chocolate, ice cream or a couple bowls of sugary cereal.

Unfortunately our bodies don’t have a way to ignore those calories and they can pretty quickly add up to a few hundred if not more.

Here’s a little trick/recipe you can use next time you get a hankering for something sweet at night.

Mix a 1/2 scoop of protein powder with a tablespoon of powdered peanut butter with just a few drops of unsweetened almond milk and a shake or two of salt.

Add the almond milk in just a little at a time until your mix is about the consistency of peanut butter.

What you’ve got now is basically a delicious protein packed, low calorie pudding.

Eat it little by little with a spoon or spread it onto an apple cinnamon or caramel rice cake and enjoy!

The “pudding” by itself has about:

98 calories

15g protein

5g carbs

2g fat

Add another 50 calories if you go the rice cake route.

We hope this helps!

P.S.! If you need help setting up your target calories for fat loss, muscle gain or lean bulking we have you covered!
