WE ARE STARTING TODAY... AND YOU CAN TOO
As we announced on Thursday, we are ALL IN! Starting nananaNOW this is our full time gig.
So, we are STARTING TODAY!
Guess what, YOU CAN START TODAY TOO!
What is the common theme of the sentences below?
People who have money have saved more often than they’ve overspent.
People who are lean have eaten well more often than they’ve eaten poorly.
People who have muscle mass have lifted weights more often than they haven’t.
If you guessed that ‘consistency’ was the common element, you are correct!
They’ve saved, eaten well and/or worked out with weights more often than they haven’t… consistently.
Don’t let one more day pass before you start being consistent on that thing that you’ve been waiting to start, trying to start and reaching for.
Start with us. Start today!
Success happens in consistency.
I believe it can happen for us and I believe it can happen for you.
Here are five things we are going to be consistent at starting today:
1. Content.
We are going to deliver A+ educational content to you consistently so that you will learn and grow as we learn and grow. Our focus will be health based primarily on training and nutrition.
2. Education.
We are going to be learning a lot more. We are going to dedicate hours each day just to learning and researching so that we can be as helpful as we can to you.
3. Client Spotlights.
That’s YOU! We want to see and feature and post all about you. We’ll be asking for pictures and videos so get ready! This will be a fun part of this adventure, let’s GO!
4. Growth Mindset.
A growth mindset thrives on challenges and even failures as a springboard for growth. This can be a struggle as it is often times more comfortable to be still rather than grow and do something outside of your comfort zone. But doing new and unfamiliar things is the key to growth. This is a time we are dedicating to growth and I know that I (Blakley) have to be brave and bold and embrace the new.
5. Breaking Routine.
Another struggle for me personally. I have had a very set schedule for a very long time. My days and nights and weekends have looked pretty much the same for years and years and years. I worked for Rice University for 18 years. I’ve coached people in person in a CrossFit setting for nearly 10 years. And I’ve lived in Houston Texas since I was 12 (minus one year living in Tennessee). All this is about to change and (for me) change is hard. I am comfortable in routine. I excel in routine. I can get up, eat, work out, and go to bed all at the same time of day for weeks and months at a time and be ok. But what breaking routine WILL do for me is to help me grow. As Jonathan and I develop our new schedule we will have to make an all out effort to not get lost in routine. We want this to be a time of growth and adventure and to do that we will have to force ourselves into changes in schedule and routine, go to places we’ve never been and experience things we’ve never done. I believe all this will help us grow and learn but it will take a lot of faith and courage.
What are you going to start doing consistently today?
Let us know! We will help hold you accountable.
