EXTREMES

Don't fall for extremes.  Extreme diets and extreme workouts seem to be the main culprit in this industry. 

Look for sustainable options.  Something you can adhere to for a long period of time.  All of the different "challenges" that go around can be great for getting a kickstart, but they aren't sustainable and they often put people in a worse place than where they started once the challenge is a distant memory.  

Find an exercise routine that can be a lifestyle.  Find a way to eat that helps you reach your goals and can turn into the way you eat for the rest of your life.

Consistency beats intensity every time.
